What Quality is the Quran Audio
- Fixed Bit Rate
- Bit-Rate – 128Kbps
- Sampling – 44Khz (CD Quality)
- Stereo / Joint Stereo
The above is the ideal, but content may vary depending on the source we retrieve it from.
*192Kbps – “High quality, typically the amount of quality added is not worth the extra file size.”

Why is Mufti Menk the only one with a title before his Name?
This is just by accident, it may have been because he was the first speaker we had also he is well known as such. We decided to keep everyone else without titles to keep the list in alphabetical order. Further, some reciters are Doctors, Shaykhs and perhaps have some other titles. His full name is Ismail Menk.
Do you Accept Zakah?
There is a difference of a opinion. The majority state that it should ONLY be given to the poor and so on.
There is a minor/modern view that say Islamic Organisations are also eligible.
Thus, giving zakah to Muslim Central NPO is based on the view that you adopt.
We DO NOT accept Zakat ul Fitr, that is specific to Ramadan and as far as we know must be used to feed eligible persons.
You May find this article on Muslim Matters beneficial, which has the view that projects such as ours in our times should be eligible.
Allah knows best.
