About Surah: Al-Fajr
This is a Makki Surah and Allaah (SWT) swears by the time of Fajr at the beginning of the verse.
Allaah (SWT) asks to consider the situation of Aad, Thamud, and Firawn, the likes of whom have not been seen, yet when they persisted in their disobedience and corruption, they were destroyed by the punishments Allaah (SWT) sent upon them.
It is man’s nature that when Allaah (SWT) blesses him with comforts, he boasts about being honored by Allaah (SWT), but when he faces any difficulty, he immediately says that his Lord has humiliated him, forgetting that both situations are actually trial from Allaah (SWT).
On the Day of Resurrection, the wicked will curse themselves for not having prepared anything for the Hereafter, while the pious will be asked to enter Allaah’s Paradise.
